Beginning in the mid-1980s, Hopivewat aimed to build a museum and resource facility centered on responsibly stewarding and managing our own Hopi cultural assets. The Hopivewat Resource and Learning Center embraces the values of the Hopi and Tewa communities, perpetuates and maintains the Hopi and Tewa culture using traditional values and principles.

Hopivewat LC is excited for this years Heritage Festival of Arts and Culture at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, AZ. Come visit the team and learn about the amazing projects HLC has been working on and how you, as Hopi community members, can participate. Event is June 22nd and 23rd, 2024 from 10a-4p each day.
