Beginning in the mid-1980s, Hopivewat aimed to build a museum and resource facility centered on responsibly stewarding and managing our own Hopi cultural assets. The Hopivewat Resource and Learning Center embraces the values of the Hopi and Tewa communities, perpetuates and maintains the Hopi and Tewa culture using traditional values and principles.

The Hopivewat Learning Center is happy to share the launch and release of a new virtual reality product created in partnership with the Hopi Cultural Preservation Office, the Hopi Public Library, Hopi Education Department, CyArk, and FableVision Illustrations. Join the Hopi community on July 8, 2025, at the Peace Academic Center in Kykotsmovi, Arizona, to celebrate this educational tool that helps amplify Hopi voices, allows you to explore 3-D scanned ancestral sites, and promotes intergenerational learning.
